Premier North London firm (Chambers and Legal 500 listed) are looking to recruit a top Employment Solicitor with 3+ Years PQE experience
Ranked as leading experts and having a national reputation for heavyweight expertise in employment work , this legal practice wishes to make a appointment as part of its continued development of their employment department, to supplement the current team and to exploit the opportunities available.
This busy department handles primarily challenging contentious matters on behalf of employers and employees. The role will have a strong business development aspect, adding to the initiatives already underway to raise the profile of the department and build the client portfolio with regional and national businesses and institutions. The successful highly motivated candidate is likely to have at least 3 years PQE in a private practice environment (with a mainly contentious caseload) and relish the challenges of being involved in the development of the department.
The candidate would also be expected to have strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills, and be used to delivering a very high quality service. Knowledge of the local market and contacts would be beneficial.

The starting salary is negotiable and competitive, dependent upon skills, experience and client following, plus bonus linked to fee income. Applicants seeking a salary towards the higher end will be expected to be able to bring a significant following of employer clients.
