| Job Title: ** SENIOR FUNDS LAWYER - UP TO £75,000 - 5+ PQE ** |
| Description |
- Provide legal services and advice as required (including drafting/approving documentation) to all levels of business management including senior management and executives, within agreed service standards, liaising as necessary with external providers, to ensure that legal, compliance and commercial considerations are taken into account and risks appropriately managed.
- Building key customer relationship management
- Participate effectively in the identification, analysis and resolution of any proposals by business management likely to give rise to contraventions of the law, in order to safeguard the legal, financial and reputational standing of the Group.
- Provide advice, reports and training in respect of legal matters within the remit of the Legal Department, to ensure that relevant staff are provided with the level of understanding and competence required to perform their roles.
- Monitor, analyse and report on current and potential developments in the law Assist in monitoring and implementing the Group's Risk Management Standards, particularly the AXA UK Group Legal Risk policy

Essential:
- Qualification as a Solicitor or Barrister with sufficient PQE
- Funds experience
- Demonstrate gravitas to liaise closely with and advise senior management on strategy formulation, key commercial projects and major disputes.
- The ability to present complex legal information clearly, accurately and in a way that can be understood by the relevant audience.
- Technical expertise and flexibility, combined with a sound commercial sense and the ability to make pragmatic decisions.
- Good influencing skills
