| Job Title: *** Paralegal /ISDA Negotiater - 2+ PQE - up to £55 000 *** |
| Description |
The role will be a challenging and varied role and will provide scope to be getting involved in a number of various markets as well as exposure to security finance.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· ISDA . Negotiating FX orientated ISDA and basic prime brokerage documentation, with a focus on investment managers and hedge funds.
· Terms of Business. Assisting counsel with negotiation of equity and fixed income standard terms of business.
· General Documentation. Assisting counsel by preparing first draft and execution legal agreements for electronic trading, brokerage products, securities finance and portfolio solutions businesses.
· Administration. Organising documentation database and organising attendance at industry seminars. Managing legal bills and expenses. Some general team administration.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
· You will be an experienced ISDA Negotiator, educated to degree standard, ideally including the study of law.
· You will also have a minimum 2 year experience and knowledge of negotiating the ISDA Master Agreement and experience of other contractual negotiations, financial document production preferred (including GMRA,GMSLA ,CSA , Give up Agreements).
· Any exposure to prime brokerage and hedge fund counterparties would be advantageous.
· We are looking for someone who will thrive in a busy department with business exposure and who possess a can do attitude and willingness to take on a range of tasks is essential.
· European language skills welcome but not essential.
