| Job Title: *** Senior ISDA Negotiator/Manager - up to £100 000 *** |
| Description |
The role will involve negotiating all Master Agreement documentation for all of its various entities and supervising a team of 4-5 negotiators and as such candidates must have at least 3-4 years ISDA negotiating as well as supervisory experience.
The Senior Legal Counsel is expected to, draft and negotiate all Master Agreement documentation and assist with the companies complying with its legal and regulatory obligations. Where necessary, due diligence (resulting from the legal form or the place of incorporation of the counterparty) have to be performed, liaising with market body organisations and external counsel, in order to conclude negotiations in various jurisdictions.
You will be in charge of managing the team of negotiators located in London including monitoring their job, training them and evaluating their performance
Principal Responsibilities
· Obtaining and understanding the written credit approval;
· Drafting the appropriate Master Agreement using appropriate templates (or where applicable reviewing the counterpartys version);
· Negotiating terms and close liaison with the relevant credit officer, marketer/trader, tax officer, back-office, middle office, collateral management department and colleagues within legal department (where appropriate);
· Committee talks with Risk, Collateral Management, Tax and Back office on key developments within Bank and then implementation to the Master Agreement negotiation function.
· Ensuring that the firms monitoring systems are kept up-to-date throughout the process, and that the details of executed Agreements are correctly entered upon completion in the legal database.
· Reporting of Master Agreements to be done on a weekly basis, showing Agreements, which have been executed. Performing due diligence as required when dealing with non-standard counterparties and/or documentation;
