London Law firm seeks Pensions Lawyer
About the Firm
Abacus Professional Recruitment are currently recruiting for a top Pensions Lawyer to join our prestigious Global client, based in London. Candidates will have experience gained as a Pensions Lawyer within a large City law firm and have had exposure to advising on pension’s schemes and dealing with pension’s disputes on behalf of both employers and trustees.
About the Lawyer….
Applicants must possess the ability to-:
*
· Deal with a broad range of challenging pension issues and regularly advising both employers and trustees on all aspects of pensions law.
· Advise on issues arising prior to winding up occupational pension schemes and during the wind up process itself
· Advise on the extent that employers need to amend their scheme benefit structures in the light of legal developments relating to equal treatment and age discrimination
· Deal with pensions aspects of corporate transactions
· Deal with pensions disputes (including complaints made to the Pensions Ombudsman)
· Advise private sector contractors and authorities on the pensions implications of local government outsourcing projects and the requirements needed to satisfy future pension provision
